Here is a good article on the 5 guys who showed up on campus to start school today. In case some of you missed it Alex Anzalone decided at the last minute to go play for the man who wouldn't even return his call when he chose ND over Florida. Smart move.
Most interesting in these profiles is a comment about Zaire's ability vs Golson and Kiel.
3 time POTW;
Do you all think Robinson sticks at WR? If he's still growing, and looking at the size of his daddy, he could be a great TE.
If he gets too tall, he is going to have to suit up for Brey.
I think the general consensus is he grows into a TE.
Is it? Look at how we used Eifert this year as an outside WR. That's exactly how we'll use Robinson. They're not going to waste his time teaching him how to be an in-line blocker. He's 6'4 now, and even if he grows to 6'6, he'd still be the same size as Eifert, minus all the weight.
Eifert is a TE... I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Eifert was bigger than Robinson, and he was used as a WR.
Yes, he lined up as a TE, but he was used most of the time as a WR. So if we were willing to use someone who was bigger than Robinson as a WR, why would we bother moving Robinson to TE? What's the advantage?
I don't see that happening in his first season. I think they will see how much weight he adds and how recruiting at the TE position goes for 2014. If they don't see anyone worth a scholarship for TE in 2014 moving Robinson to TE maybe something they look at with a year experience under his belt. It is the exact same thing they done with Niklas. Its all about evaluating talent. Also he could easily turn into a Michael Floyd possession type receiver and huge threat in the red zone. Floyd is 6'3 225 add 20 pounds to Robinson and you have the same frame to work with. I am not saying Robinson is the next Floyd but he has the potential to blossom into a big red zone threat.
