Ronaiah Tuiasosopo ( the suspect behind the Manti Te'o hoax) comes from a big football family. His father, Titus, played for USC in the late '80s and early '90s. One uncle, Navy, played for the L.A. Rams; another uncle, Mike, coaches the defensive line at Colorado. A cousin from an older generation, Manu, went to Seattle in the first round in 1979; another cousin, Marques, went to Oakland in the second round in 2001. A cousin from a different side of the family, Fred Matua, earned All-America honors at guard for USC and played on several NFL teams, before dying this past August of a heart-related issue. (He was 28.)
Marques Tuiasosopo played for Lane Kiffin when Kiffin coached the Oakland Raiders. Sounds really suspicious doesn't it? Oh and the story breaks when the USC decommits and USC commits are due in South Bend for official visits.. Hmmmmmm
Now this! the whole thing is the craziest story ive ever heard
Wow. That holds weight. Nice facts.
Here is an idea...don't fall for made up women online that you don't interact with physically when there are a bunch of girls on campus to date. I never heard of a guy in college preferring phone calls and text to physical contact.
That's because you are incapable of comprehending Manti's way of thinking and his faith in the goodness of man(woman)kind.
He is a Morman. The Morman faith is a great part of the essence of who Manti is at his core. Lust is not what drives THIS young man. Too bad there aren't more like him.
We all know Manti is Mormon, it's my understanding that those devout do not participate in pre-marital sex. But you seem to know so much, it's amazing you didn't clue into that fact.
I could see a bitter $C fan behind all of this.
We need some straight up Columboing for this one. Good grief

Not to mention everyone thought Teo was going to USC then changed his mind on signing day which would have rubbed SC fans the wrong way. Then soon after he mets her online in 2009.
Ronaiah Tuiasosopo's deceased cousin Fred Matua's girlfriend was the face behind the supposed girlfriend Lenny. Fred was the All American guard from USC. Dig deeper folks, its now beginning to make sense.
LET'S GET IT ON!!!!!
We live in a totally different culture than we did even 10 years ago. Social media interaction has forever changed how we live.
As a minister, I can tell you that people are getting engaged without having ever met each other. They meet on dating websites, facebook, etc and talk on the phone for weeks/months. I know this to be true because individuals have come to me and asked me to perform a ceremony between them and someone they have never even met. Unreal isn't it?
My luck w/the Irish 20-6...GO IRISH!!!
I'm many years out of college, and I've heard of more than a few, and it's not limited to young people. The line between "reality" and the "cyber world" is getting more blurred every day. There's nothing unusual about this whatsoever.
I may not be pretty, but I'm fast.....
POTW 1/31/11 - 2/6/11
So, the defense will be that Teo is an immature dupe, a lovesick fool who was conned for three years by a devious Lane Kiffin in league with other USC sycophants?
The scenarios we are coming up with are very bit as strange as the story itself as we know it now.
Not at all. There's no conspiracy.
