While I always agree Karma indeed will come home to roost at some point... There has to be more the to the story of a random guy that OSU has no clue about (that is a sex offender-ouch) (and maybe they did have a clue?) sending tweets to scare a kid/s... Story is confusing and weird... but like I said Urbie been sliding in the grey area for years so...
Wierd indeed. There is more to this story for sure.
2 time POTW winner on some dates I can't remember from 2yrs ago at BNG,
POTW: 1/3/11- 1/9/11, 6/20/11-6/26/11
My luck w/the Irish 20-6...GO IRISH!!!
I can't imagine Jaylon Smith is still considering OSU with what Alex's dad is saying about the out of control atmosphere with respect to sex offenders.
Anzalone is a 240lb linebacker. Hardly at risk here. This is weird.
Extremely odd situation. The guy in question has no official connection to the university, but he seems to be everywhere. In the wake of what happened at Penn State, you can hardly blame a player or parent for not wanting to associate with such a person or school where that person seems to be consistently hanging around, regardless of whether or not the player is personally at risk. I think at this point, it may not be about concern for being physically attacked, but it's being associated with someone who could be putting others at risk and who is conducting sad activity all over the internet. You don't want that for yourself, and as a parent, you certainly don't want that for your kid.

Sounds as if there is more to the story...but using the sex offender contact is a good way to leave a bad situation without dragging out more dirt. I think that the family took the high road on this OSU drama.
More to the story? Finding out your 17 year old kid posed with a convicted sex offender while on a visit to a university requires more?
This is really creepy. Lets see what else comes out.
Two time Poster of The Week, 2011 and 2013.
No, I must not have been clear…I was trying to say that I suspect there must be a lot of bad things going on with the OSU program. The incidents with the convicted sex offender was just another issue that both Alex and his family found in time to avoid being “victims” in program that looks glamorous on the outside till you step into the mess. I have investigated child molest cases for 14 years trust me I was not taking it lightly. I just believe this was a just one topic the family chose instead of dragging out all the other trash that found since the commitment….thus, there may be more garbage going on that they didn’t want to share in their story.
Not entirely sure how Ohio State or any other school can control this. Is the school supposed to be aware of any freak
that shows up for a spring game? Aren't regular fans given access to take pictures with the athletes at these events?
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he decommitted but really, what would ND do differently?
There has to be more.
