Strange as it is to think about, ND is the higher ranked team and yet favored to lose. With games like Flordia, GA and Tech and K-State which have a top 10 team vs a top top 20 team (coaches poll). Yet the game featuring 2 top 10 the higher is looking at having to pull off a "miracle" in order to win.
People seem to have to idea this will be ether or blow out OK win or close ND win.
With people feeling that doesn't seem OK has a lot of pressure. Or maybe we have to face the Irish got a boost in the polls cause of being ND.
And they belong in the top 15 instead.
I dunno but this game does feel a little weird. With the team you like being ranked so high I do not feel so nervous about a lose, as when ND is lower ranked.
And if we get that feeling do we really think we can win a national champion ship. With fans being a little worried what do you think the coaches are thinking about?
"Won't like the day we can get exposed"
All and all, I have confidence in the Irish, Landry has a lot of pressure on him, this being a "revenge" game for OK. ND was not supposed to be this far. I predicted at 11-2/10-3 season (check the records!!) and I thought this was going to be a lose. People said 11-2/10-3 was too high and it looks like that will be the out come, it's depending on if we win the bowl game or not. So Irish should be a little relaxed and ready to go after'em, we'll see.
Coaches and players do not think like fans. These coaches and players expect to win now. Which is different than us fans hoping we win. We can worry. The team can not afford to worry.
