Mine was the game when Scott Kowalkowski planted Todd Maronovich's (sp?)head and helmet into the ND turf on the last play of the game. I'm sure you remember that one, but I can't remember which year that was. My second was the 1988 game. Tony Rice's run just set the tone. I actually remember Rodney Peete's head being planted into the turf in that one and him getting up with turf stuck in his helmet. PRICELESS.
2010....we needed to get the monkey off of our back, something like 10 wins in a row by USC and utterly being dominated. A true frosh Tommy Rees went in and got it done, even with 4 turnovers by our. I'll never forget the game winning drive with Ciere Wood and Robert Hughes running in the rain behind a powerful and dominant line. Huges will that ball in the end zone on that drive.
That was a great game also. Robert Hughes was a stud in that one.
1965. If you were alive and an Irish fan, you'll understand.
1973 ND23- SC14 First Win in Seven Years and eventual National Championship!!
Forgot to include 77.
If I had to pick only one, it would be 86.

5 Time POTW & 2 Time WPOTW Winner
This isn't a math test, passion has a funny of trumping logic.
My luck w/the Irish 20-6...GO IRISH!!!
I'm pretty sure you're writing about the 1989 game. Marinovich had been popping off all game long.
When Peete got planted in the '88 game I sprung out of my seat and screamed, it just came out. Unfortunately, I was sitting in the middle of $C fans at the Colliseum. My girlfriend, at the time, was freaking out because $C fans were accusing me of cheering Peete's injury, and were threatening to kick my azz. But it was simply a solid hit, and that's when I realized the Irish were going to win.
1989, i was at the game. we came back from 17-7 at the half and won 28-24. we stopped USC on downs inside our 10 at the end.
Two time Poster of The Week, 2011 and 2013.
I was thinking of another game that I don't believe has been mentioned. That was the famous "green jersey" game in the 70's when Eric Pinnick (sp?) had a great TD run. Wasn't that the year after the infamous Anthony Davis game?
Yea - Larry Congar scored 4 tds - and a classic quote from Coach McKay when the SC qb fell down on SC's 1st series "Oh my God they shot him!" the ND crowd was totally crazy:) Great game - Great memory! But my #1 was 1988 when #1 ND beat #2 SC very special! GO IRISH!!
86 was special. Best game I've ever seen.
1973, baby. No other one in memory comes close - including 1988
I have to agree with all the ones above, but favorite would be '88
I would also like to add this week's game to that list. Manti playing his last regular season game against the school he grew up loving but shunned to come to ND for a chance at a NC. Not sure Hollywood could've scripted it better.

1988 Stan Smagala's int for a touchdown!
1973 on the games first play Luther Bradley hit Lynn Swann so hard his helmet came flying off.
1986 The 4th quater comeback,John Carney's FG on the games final play 38-37 win, this game helped the Irish jump start their program again.
1986. The Irish Fans were incredible!
1977, 88 & 89 too.
One time POTW winner.
Sadly both were nd defeats. The bush push was heartbreaking but what a game. The next game at nd was my sons first game and I will never forget it.
