After seeing Lou's post on the story about Devin Butler he's now my favorite. What an awesome person.
Also have to pick Nix for both his big personality and big play making.
Nix and Tuitt. Two of the funniest guys off the field with the YouTube videos and two of the toughest every Saturday in the fall for 60 mins on the field.
Agreed. Best 2 players on the team and 2 of the most likable as well.
Nix and Jackson.
Two time Poster of The Week, 2011 and 2013.

6-Time POTW Winner, 4 time at BGI and 2 at 24/7
I would imagine Nix's popular rating would be sky-high if fans were polled. He's far and away my favorite player. Picking No. 2 is tough. I feel like we haven't gotten to know a lot of these guys like we did with last year's senior class.
Zack Martin and Troy Niklas are definitely up there. But I think I'm gonna go with Jaylon. Something tells me he's going to be pretty special both on and off the field.
My luck with the Irish: 4-5, 3-time POTW

Nix and Russel
However I expect Bryant to replace Nix once he leaves
Tommy Rees once, Tommy Rees twice. just how many times does this kid get up after being knocked down?
Run the ball.
Stop the run.
You win, or lose, up front.
There might be difference between "most liked" and "most
admired." For me, I like Louis the most, followed by Jaylon
But, the player I most admire is Tommy Rees who must, once
again, step in and try to lead an Irish team to victory while
knowing full well that he may not have the tools necessary to
get the job done and that he is practically everyone's least
favorite choice to quarterback the 2013 Irish.
And, its a job he didn't ask for---he wasn't supposed to be in
this position at least not now. He's only there because the guy
with the tools and, without doubt, still the crowd's favorite let
the team and the very crowd that continues to idolize him
down big time

POTW 12/23-12/29, 2013
my pick is the first 43 players my 2nd pick is the next 42 players. Every young man that picks the ND is ok by me
We don't have a full roster of 85
teo4 did you play on a poker website
I'm with the Tommy Rees crowd. This kid came of the bench as a frosh and won 4 straight games at ND, Yankee Stadium, The LA Coliseum, and then beat the U. in the Sun Bowl. He was asked to come back as a sophomore when the incumbent flopped, and several times last year to bail out our new QB star...only to get booed in his home stadium! Now we are asking him to come back, yet again, and take the 2013 team to the promise land. I am rooting for Tommy to have a legendary senior year, flashing his accumulated knowledge and experience to manage the offense to success.
The guy I expect to break onto the scene this year is Shumate. Great tackler, very aggressive kid who saw a lot action last year in the nickel. I think he now has the experience and confidence to go with his athleticism and be a presence on the defense. These are the guys I'm pulling for the most.
Tommy Rees would definitely make my honorable mention list. 2013 is his time to shine and make himself a ND legend.
That would be a very memorable ending to this story - really like the thought. GO IRISH!
