DARE WE ASK?

  • Q: Who would you walk across the street to meet?

    A: Donald Rumsfeld?

    Dick Cheney?

    Brian Kelly?

    Michael Floyd?

    Jack Swarbrick?

    Tme to consider . . . please.

  • I think I'd rather walk across the street to meet Lou, Jason, John H, Hodgie, Hammy, IFR, BobIrish, IrishBob, Taxbuster, Giga, King Solomon, Paddy, DC Pittman, even Merlin, or anybody else posting on this board.
Although I have a few questions for some of the people you mention above....like, "Hey Coach, what happened between you and Dayne for you to screw up the QB situation so badly? What did you do differently at the other schools you coached that you're not doing here, cause you sure as hell aren't getting good results so far."
Or maybe, "Hi Michael. Thanks for all your hard work at ND. Best of luck to you in the NFL."
Or...."Hey Jack, better start working on another list."

  • I would cross the street to meet Tony Rice, Chris Zorich, Kevin McDougall, Jonas Gray, Jamoris Slaughter, Jason Sapp or Lou. I would cross the street not to meet Barney Frank, Barry Obama, Donald Rumsfeld or Al Gore. I would run to the middle of the street and kiss a fast moving trolley to avoid meeting Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, Michelle Bachmann or Anthony Weiner.

I have met Ara and Digger. Ara was worth it. Digger not so much. I have also met Ronnie Wood, Keith Richard, Frank Zappa, Jimi Hendrix, etc. Among them, only Zappa was worthwhile.

I went beyond the scope of the question. Why not? It's New Year's Eve at my house.

    Happy New Year!!!

I would probably walk across the street to meet many of you, as well.

Lou Holtz...wait , already did that... nobody on that list grabs me.

Rumsfeld, as an active duty military member during his time as Secretary od Defense , he scared the shit out of me because he was borderline psycho, same could be said for Cheney.

Kelly, not convinced he is as good as advertised...too much political background coming out in him, throwing his players under the bus reeks of politician to me.

Floyd, while good for ND, was not my favorite receiver... that is reserved for Golden Tate..see pic of my wife and I in Tate jerseys.

I have no interest in meeting Swarbrick, just don't.

    Happy New Year everyone!!
