Come on down, Big Guy, and start being what only you know you can be. Don't skip a day with those weights - they'll make the difference along with your cardio as to whether you play this year. We need you big time.

Glad to get this update as I was wondering about Jones the other day. I am excited for what he and Day can be for the future. Hoping we are deep enough that both are able to redshirt, doubt it though.

I saw him play in a sectional playoff game this past fall, after my son's game. He looks extremely athletic, runs really well

I don't think comparisons to Tuitt are fair to anybody. Few Freshmen have NFL-ready bodies coming off the bus. Jones is very athletic, with ample raw talent. What he has not been is tested against first-tier competition. Like any Freshman, he will need to walk that talk of being ready to do what it takes, because it almost always requires effort above and beyond.
