When all is said and done, recruitng classes are judged by W/L records. Over the years, I have "noticed" (no rigorous statistical analysis) that great classes produce All Americans, but they also seem to either provide great quality and depth (super classes) or some huge difference makers. This is not a huge class but with Kiel, Day, Jones, Stanley, Shumate, Brown, Baratti, and Neal; this class could provide a significant compliment to the 2011 recruiting class, and big time stars.

I would take Kiel and Neal over the guys we lost at the last minute any day and twice on Sunday.

I'd prefer Neal on offense over defense. When we lost last year it was almost always due to lack of scoring and not our DB's (UM a different story). We need play makers on offense and special teams that can score and score quick, not freshman DB's.

Although, I wouldn't be upset if he got a few snaps on D to help a thin DB core. Hell, he could be a three way player next year if he's dynamic enough.

No reason why he cant return punts, get some reps in the slot and some reps in nickel m-t-m press situations where he doesnt have to think. Kid is GLUE on WRs and we have limited options there.

i cant wait to see him in the slot he will be a hard mathup for defenses we need that elite slot guy.

Hold on with all this praise! Let's just wait and see . I agree Merlin. Stop with all the hype .
