after saying how Crist was his guy to go into battle, etc, and then yank him after one half because Kelly did not get the team ready to play was hanging him out to dry. oh well.
Crist was an absolute class act and deserves success on him next stop and will be a solid journeyman pro.

I think once Kelly realized Crist wasnt his guy and wasnt going to be his guy going forward, why should he play a senior who wasnt going to be around next year? You can argue that his decision to stay with Rees throughout his awful play was bad, but Im not going to fault him for not playing Crist. Dayne seems like a good kid, but he just wasnt mentally tough enough. I would have rather seen more of Hendrix, butI wont fault Kelly for looking towards the future when it came to Crist.
