It's all about timing, and when you get hot. Also, it helps when you have one player who's nearly unstoppable. Unfortunately, all of our players were stoppable, though as a team, they played superbly, most of the season.

Notre Dame is a jump shooting team and as much as we love them, inferior athletically and in length to some teams. A perfect storm brewed against Florida St. Missing shots against a longer, more athletic team.
5-Time POTW Winner, 4 time at BGI and 1 at 24/7

Notre dame has no inside game, Nash is terrible and Scott is a jump shooter.

Couldn't help but think watching Duke and UNC how much we could have used Plumlee or Zellars but had they come Brey probably wouldn't use them anyway. Zellars would be redshirting and when he did play he'd be used like Scott

At least we're not Lousiville who beat Butler by double digits and UConn twice, then lost in the first round.

"Ignore the fact that Butler went to the finals twice. Brey is the best we can get, and making it to the field of 32 is all there ever will be. Notre Dame will NEVER be what Butler is. Those type of players won't ever come to South Bend, they are 1.5 hours south, 1.5 damn it, don't you get it? Brey is all we have, and we should be happy to have him, oh yes and one other thing, Charlie Weis is the next Bill Belichick."
