Thanks for the info and your hard work, J. We really appreciate it!
Call me a wide-eyed optimist, but I feel pretty good about Vanderdoes and Smythe.
Heard they loved my cake too!! (duh)!!
2 time POTW winner on some dates I can't remember from 2yrs ago at BNG,
POTW: 1/3/11- 1/9/11, 6/20/11-6/26/11
Would feel better about Big V if he were not going to Alabama LAST......queue the BCS game tape....trot out the crystal ball and rings.
God. Country. Notre Dame.
I feel really good about our chances w/ EV. I read his twitter feed last night and he was making several comments about how great things are and how excited he was for and about the trip. Made few comments about USC. I just cant see him going back there. Their class is falling apart and it looks like Ramsey may flip from their class as well. As far as EV to Alabama, I see him making the trip and being a man of his word, but I just dont see a west coast kid going to the Deep South. Culturally and socially, two very different parts of the country. Alabama has one player on their team from Cali. I could be wrong but I just dont see him going there. ND has a great relationship w/ EV and you can tell through tweets from EV he really likes the staff and players. I think once ND convinces him he will be used more like Sheldon Day than Nix, we got him. Cant wait for NSD.
I doubt we go 0-5 (prevot) next week. Need one or two to flip to the good guys on nsd

Ok, you're a wide-eyed optimist.
“This is that time when you say winning’s a choice.“
Ok, you're a wide-eyed optimist also.
Gringo Mafia: Black Ops & 'Family Recruitment'
Official thorn in JSapp's side
I dont think Im being overly optimistic, its kinda a process of elimination thing. I didnt mention UCLA in my post, but it doesnt seem like EV has mentioned them much either and he visited there months ago. Like I said, I dont think he goes back to USC and Alabama got in later then we did and I just dont see him going there. Although I could be wrong. As far as not getting guys on NSD we are rarely in it for players on NSD and have done alright with guys we had a shot at and visited late with real interest. While they were not 5 star guys, Kelly pulled in several guys at the end of '10 cycle, including Matt James on NSD. He got Tuitt back at the end when he waffled. I think we've done as well as we could near in the end of recruiting considering we've hung around .500 for half a decade. Finally, why follow sports to be pessimistic. I never understand people who do that.
Alabama might be flipping Dee Liner and Poggi (UM kid). I think it comes down to USC and ND. Just my hunch.
I am optimistic about EV. I think he wants to play with Jaylon.
