It is very good news. When I read that he wasn't projected until the 3rd round, I thought that might prompt him to come back. And glad he did.

Not sure how he fell to the third round in the advisory board's eyes....but I like it. I think Koyack will be great but he needs another year. Next year should be prolific for Eifert, and it should soften the outside for young guys like Greenberry and Divaris Daniels.

I'm liking it both for him and for the team. The return of Teo and Eifert - the change in assistant coaches - the maturing of the program into its third year ... now all we need is an adequate quarterback.
Also as an aside - it seems that that the pendulum has swung now in favor of players taking their full four years of college. A change in generational values? The difficult economy?

This is big. He is a crucial piece to the offensive puzzle. I can't imagine what the offense would look like next season without Floyd and Eifert. Now, we won't need to.

First Floyd, now Eifert. I hope the NFL advisory board keeps telling ND juniors they'll be third rounders! Terrific news! Regardless of our recruiting, we win big with Te'o and Eifert both coming back.

I think this trend will continue because of the new CBA. The rookie wage scale makes it MUCH less lucrative to declare for the first rounders.

Well, good for us. Because this was possibly one of our biggest recruits for 2012 (Te'o and Tyler).

Great news!
Floyd's decision last year followed by Te'o and Eifert's this year are perfect examples of why WE as fans should not try to predict what an athlete is thinking/going to do. 99.9% of the time, we have no clue.
