I just went back and re-watched some 2011 highlights. At the risk of sounding controversial, this kid may be the best running back in the country too. His fundamentals are off the charts: Waits for his blocks, 2 hands on the ball in traffic, fantastic balance, re-sets with his hand on the ground, break away speed, quick change of direction and, obviously, as big as a linebacker! Just sayin'...

Smith is an outside backer.

I know. I meant in terms of talent and leadership role.

I think you'll see them basically cut Smith loose next year, and Grace or Moore call the shots up front. Just my opinion though.

I'm hoping we see 4 leaders playing the backer spots, and any one of them can call the fronts. I think that's what the staff wants too.

This kid will be the recruit magnet that many thought Gunner Kiel would be for last year's class.

There is a certain energy, firmness, and balance to this class that I feel no one will decommit. They're in this for the next 6-7 months and for the next 4-6 years.

Smith, JO, Elmer, Huerman, and Co will continue to recruit and we're gonna get Anzalone, Rochell(who most think was a lock either way), and hopefully an elite CB like Hargreaves. Throw in a WR and another DT and it's terribly terribly solid, with or without a RB.

So was manti. Never where they end up. What I do know is this kid is a freak!
