Rockne's Roundtable

LSU has 6 QB's on their roster! 2 graduate this year but that still leaves Zach Mettenburger the JUCO transfer that was kicked out of Georgia. Mettenburger had won the starting QB position at Georgia over Aaron Murray before leaving.
Along with Mettenburger they signed 2 other QB's last year; Jerrard Randall and Stephen Rivers. Not sure that I see early playing time for Kiel there.
Also, I don't like to bash other programs but the education level at LSU simply does not fall in line with ND and Vandy!

Sorry, Since ND has two young QB's, I just don't feel it. I don't think he picks ND. The only thing that might work in our favor is that there seems to be some desire to stay near home as evidenced by the Indiana pick. However, there are plenty of teams near home to choose from that may have less QB's and more opportunity. If I was him, and I wanted to stay near home I would pick the scum or MSU. MSU loses its QB next year and Michigan the year after. Man, it was painful writing the previous sentence.

I know nothing about nothing, but I say Arkansas is a pretty attractive place for a QB like Gunner. Not sure about the academic side, but Petrino lights up the scoreboard.
