The former Notre Dame quarterback from 1980-83 and the uncle of current Irish freshman QB Gunner Kiel died Easter Sunday.

From Notre Dame football sports information director Brian Hardin:
Blair Armstrong Kiel, 50, of Columbus, died of natural causes at 12:21 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital emergency room.
Calling will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Indiana.
