Golson Looks To Be QB Frontrunner

Just Curious,... We know he can throw the ball, but how fast is he in the 40? Someone mentioned RG3,... is EG in the same class as far as speed?

this kid's IQ is way up there, so the science part will come as well. what is also impressive is the mental maturity at balancing all that's happening at once. he should be fun to watch......

Golson is the starter, at least week 1. I've played some football, and a guy in the competition to be the starting QB would not be the ball carrier in the rodeo drill, which Hendrix has been. I think we will see Hendrix in some Goal Line type packages, but Golson is the man week 1 and hopefully for the rest of the year.

I like where I've read that Golson is rooming with Rees and that Tommy has been extremely helpful in practice. Hopefully he is imparting that knowledge of the playbook and play-checks to EG in late night study sessions. I think the esteem Kelly has for Rees and the fact that he is rooming with EG (unless that is player choice or something random I don't understand) is a big tell of who he plans on playing.
