This is validation to me that Gunner is the real deal. If he was lacking anything at all, Les wouldn't need to point it out. Tells me that LSU is really smarting about the loss of Gunner.

Well, I don't know about Gunner's chest, but it appears that Miles certainly has the azz to be an SEC coach. Unfortunately he wears it on his shoulders.

He doesn't have the chest to lead a team, but you would have gladly taken him.
I think Miles should focus on the problems of his own team and not worry about recruits he missed out on.

I guess if I were an LSU fan I'd want to know why our head coach wasted so much time recruiting someone with "no chest." Would have been interesting hearing him try to answer that question.

"Plan B" (more likely Plan Z) for Miles is a QB who is 6'3" (probably 6'2" or less) and weighs 270 lbs... Not a typo.

lol, then Miles was an idiot for accepting Kiel's commitment, wasn't he? In reality, the thing that kept Kiel away from LSU wasn't his chest: it was his head. He realized he didn't have to "dumb down" to an LSU degree to realize his NFL aspirations, and once he cleared that hump, LSU was toast..

It's one thing for fans to talk about things like that, like some here towards DG but a coach? Truly classless and I am sure we will here an apology and a it was taken out of context statement from less miles.

So I am a recruit and being woooed by LEs Miles about how great I am and how I will be a great star at LSU... I switch my committment to another school and now I am not capable... yes he is a coach with much integrity... if you dont get used care salesman from this guy you are blinded as a recruit... you are only great until you say no the the GREAT LES MILES...
If I were a recruit here is the exact conversation:
So Coach you think I am worthy of a scholly at LSU correct... Miles: Oh yes son not only that we will make you great and you will make it to the next level for sure... that is why we are here... I believe in your talent...
So Coach if I decide to go to XYZ university instead of Miles Univ you will still feel the same about my skills... meaning Coach I can beleive what you are saying about me right to my eye correct?

LSU fans need to ask why Miles recruited the "kid from Indiana", if that "kid" didn't have whatever Miles feels is needed to lead LSU. Given their lack of offense against good defenses, that appears to be a habit of his. Video should be shown to all kids Miles tries to recruit.
