I always like to come to defense of these guys sometimes. Some of these guys have hands that are way to big to shoot a basketball overhand like that (if you get bored, try shooting a tennis ball or baseball with backspin on it...it's tough when the ball is that small). They should really just suck it up and go underhand.

When I saw that yesterday on yahoo, it fat exceeded expectations on just how bad that was. It was actually beyond funny, and had me wondering if it might have been staged. Shaq(ONeal), shooting lefty, blinfolded, back to the basket, being tickled while drunk, would get MUCH closer than that.

If underhand shooting allows the player to make 90-100% of his FT, I do not see the problem with it. Hey, so what if it is not cool. Posterize someone nasty, get a "and1", then shoot the underhand FT. Kind of like a big tall guy who goes buy the name Tiny.

I saw it last night on ESPN. That was possibly the worst i have seen,lol. I am assuming it slipped out of his hand.
