Lake Charles..can't wait for the Irish to shut up all these SEC fans I deal with daily. Its tough down here. They laugh at the thought of this game even being competitive. NCG can't get here soon enough.

I would not have considered his return a bad thing but it would have to have been handled properly. He made mistake and that is not unusual for young men of that age to do. I really do not get the hate. It is obvious nothing could be worked out and that's that. He obviously could not meet whatever criterion the staff would have placed on him or they were uncomfortable with taking him back. I wish he would have been more mature in regards to leaving but to think he could have not been an asset to this team is somewhat misguided in my opinion. It might have needed a maturity that he does not yet have however.

Regardless of what anyone thinks, Lynch transferring back to ND makes absolutely no sense. He will have to sit out another year, and will then be eligible for the NFL draft. He was a classic example of addition by subtraction.
