Try the deep ball too often against alabama. If there is one thing they cover extremely well in the passing game it's the deep ball.
Wouldn't mind if we tried to hit brown early or something but I've seen too many underthrown balls be picked off by bama this year

Golson hasn't underthrown a deep ball all year. We'll see him throw one, at least to Brown or Daniels, just like at Norman.

I would think it would depend, in part, on what they do with their safeties. If they think they need them closer to the line for run support, then the deep ball might be there. I'm guessing they'll try to stop the run, initially, without that.

Murray completed multiple deep passes against Bama and the secondary looked particularly susceptible against them.

Maybe. But the good SEC QBs (only 2) through the ball effectively against them. It is easy to defend the big play against lousy QB play.

Yep. Exactly. GA should have one this game. Murray missed multiple open receivers down field.

He actually has. Goodman's TD against Wake Forest comes to mind. I am totally comfortable with Golson throwing deep, but he's not Tom Brady or anything.

He caught the ball in the end zone, if he threw it any further it would've been out of bounds.
