A pro prospect at qb, 3 track stars that are good receivers and a very good offensive line. What defensive scheme would be best for ND to use against them next year against Usc ?. I feel that the best way to keep them from lighting up the scoreboard on ND would be to rush three and drop 8. We could mix it up some by blitzing from time to time and hoping that we don't get burned or switching to a 4 man line, but I can't see us playing our basic defenses and not getting burned time and again by their passing game. Thoughts anyone ?

Run the ball. Stop the run. You win, or lose, up front.
