Ian Williams inks new deal with 49ers

It appears as if Ian Williams will be sticking around the Bay Area for a couple more years.

49ers sign Ian Williams to two-year deal | ProFootballTalk

The 49ers have signed defensive tackle Ian Williams to a two-year, $3.2 million contract, a league source told PFTs Mike Florio Monday. According to the source, the contract includes a $1 million signing bonus and another $1 million guaranteed.

The Rams, since way back in the LA days when i was really young. i started rooting for them in 1974. Lots of lean years in there but some good ones also. Joe Montana was my hero at ND but when he was with the 49ers and killed the rams most of the time i dont think i disliked a pro athlete more than him,lol.

You like Joe Flacco locked into a long term deal worth a lot of money. But the drawback is you have to dump a few talented players elsewhere to make room in the budget.

From the looks of things Ian Williams will be getting some serious PT this year. Haven't seen much of him the last 2 years and I've watched the 49ers a lot. Congrats to the big fella!
