Ok, it's Michigan, but I've never been this pissed at a Notre Dame team
My emotion is disappointment.
At Notre Dame for pissing away two very winnable games
At myself for believing once again we have "turned the corner" with a program that right now is no better than a shi**y mid major school.
Was all set to go to Pittsburgh, have good seats. Now all I want to do is give them away, and take a shower.
As a Notre Dame fan and alum, I still love the school and will probably always watch the football games. But midway through last season I lost the blind faith that Kelly or any other coach is going to "take us all the way." I got to the point where they need to show me with results on the field, with consistently good play against good teams. That little 4 game win streak against mediocre teams didn't impress me all that much. I was hoping that they'd keep it going and use it to build on and keep getting better, but my approach heading into this year was, basically, "show me the money." Well, all they've shown so far is that they're talented but find ways to self destruct. So, come on Brian Kelly, do you love your job and think you deserve to get paid all the big money you're making? Then show us the money - show us the results on the field.
Anyway, I'm at the point where I watch the games because I still love my alma mater, but I have no expectations at all. I hope they win, but whatever.
We're al just dust in the wind.
