2 time POTW winner on some dates I can't remember from 2yrs ago at BNG,
POTW: 1/3/11- 1/9/11, 6/20/11-6/26/11
Gringo Mafia VP of Guinness Intake, once drank Guinness under the table while drinking Guinness with Guinness! POTW 12/24/12 and 7/8/13
I held it back (somewhat) when watching the videos of the postgame celebrations. When (not if) we win jan 7 i will be a mess
I try to overdo the sentimentality of this moment, when we win the NC I will probably reflect on the absolute significance of what has happened.
I watched it with My Dad and younger brother and when ND held and was up by 9, with under 2 minutes we all kind of looked at each other...and we all started yelling. No tears, but plenty if hugging, laughing and goosebumps. I was 8 years old in 1988 so I barely remember and I sure did not appreciate the significance.
It's a brand new world
5 Time POTW--Gringo Mafia Director of Guerrilla Warfare

Gringo Mafia Sergeant at Arms - 5 time POTW
Right there with you IB.....
If we risk nothing, we risk even more.
Boo hoo type crying is different then what I'm talking about. I've been in big games around some big moments and seen plenty of welled up eyes. It's ok.
Chest bumps and chills is where I was at
^^ good stuff II!
IB, I had 35 people at my house. The last 5 minutes of the game my daughter was by my side. We were holding hands. When the boys held USC on the goal line, my eyes began to water. On the last play of the game, we hugged each other for almost a minute. Tears were abound. I told her I loved and we were headed to Miami. I am 47. I remember 88 and 93. Most of all I remember 2012 and the times I have spent with my daughter this year. These memories will last forever. The traditions will be past from one generation to another. Some day, my great great grandchildren will be at the grotto talking about me and lighting a candle just like you did. .
