I haven't listened to BKs show since the NC game. Turned it on this morning and caught part of Jason's segment, which was great as usual.

Ds not hear JCs side. Used to lkind of like him but now not so much. BK seemed to be more sympathetic to what ha happened, but like all of us is still kind of puzzled as to how this all happened

If Shurburt said that ND was in on it, then he better substantiate or he should be fired. That is a very irresponsible accusation.

I love the mods/reporters for the ND site, but I hate it that my money helps support such a jerk.

If Shurburt's comments are being accuratedly reported, then our
moderators need to assess how to deal with the situation. First,
they must communicate with Shurburt to ascertain whether he
has evidence to back up his allegations and if he does not,
then to express him to him that his unprofessional vitriol against
Notre Dame requires that he publically apologize. Absent such
an apology, I don't see how this site can continue ongoing
relations with one who is so lacking in human decency.

Just an opinion, that is all.

This guy is dead weight for such an amazing site/company. What he said and the tone he used is completely and utterly unprofessional. I'm good with him keeping his job...as long as he stops referring to himself as "reporter" or "journalist". He's an opinion writer that clearly loses sight of the facts and his obligation to readers.
JC's new job title: "biased writer", "angry SEC advocate writer", or how about "Bill O'Reilly of collegiate information".

This makes me want to end my membership. I don't to support someone so reckless with his public comments.

I'm weighing that same issue. This is ridiculous.

No one calling themself a "journalist" should offer their opinion when all the facts have yet to be determined. JC is obviously someone with an ax to grind (based solely on his statements) and should no longer be considered a journalist.

It is glaring to me that none - I repeat ... NONE - of the four journalists associated with Blue & Gold have offered their opinion. Lou wrote a very good article on the subject, but only referred to the plausibility of statements made by both Te'o and Swarbrick. He did not offer his opinion as to whether or not either or both are lying or telling the truth.

Unfortunately, the absolute truth still eludes us all.

And so long as he is employed by 247Sports, JC should keep his trap shut until we know the facts.
