Just WIN

  • Screw recruiting, screw new coaches, a training table, a jumbotron, academics, SEC athletes....blah blah blah.....Just WIN the games you should Notre Dame. WIN the games we should and were magically a 10 win team every season. Dont lose to f*ing Tulsa, South Florida, Navy and Michigan teams that have only one true weapon on their team. WIN. F* everything else. Just WIN some damn games Brian Kelly. I dont care who catches the pass, who scores the touchdown, who gets the sack or interception. Just please dont put Rees in and WIN and shut all of us up. Thanks.

  • Absolutely agree. Yesterday's disappointment is going to have a very minimal effect on the quality of team that takes the field next season (2 or 3 yrs from now could be a different story).

    On offense I'm really only concerned with 2 positions, quarterback and running back. I say running back because someone needs to step up and be an offset to Cierre Wood or poor Cierre is going to get murdered. I'm good with the Oline and am confident that a couple of guys will step up at receiver....there's plenty of talent in that pool.

    On defense.....Dline is good and only going to get better. LB-good. The DB's are the question mark but then again it's been a question mark for years so that should really come as no surprise. Overall the defense has significantly improved the last couple of years and I see no reason why that won't continue in 2012.

    WIN. Don't use the schedule as an excuse because noone cares. Don't use academics as an excuse because noone cares. Don't use the excuse that another team is cheating because noone cares, especially the NCAA. All you have to do is win. Winning cures a lot of ills. Play Like A Champion.

  • Count me in on the "you are absolutely correct Merlin". Been saying that for two years. Things are nice, as listed, by Merlin, but all the great programs have nice toys. Ya gotta win. Period.
