The Jayhawks released their first depth chart of the Charlie Weis era yesterday at the start of training camp. Former Irish players Dayne Crist, Mike Ragone and Anthony McDonald are all listed as starters heading into camp.

The wild card in this is if Dayne Crist has a strong season that puts him into the NFL Draft and if Notre Dame continues to struggle at QB in 2012, then it might play a role in how Brian Kelly is perceived by many of the Irish fandom for not developing Crist, or tailoring a system to help him succeed.
But given that Kansas might have just a three- or four-win season and have plenty of rebuilding to do, it won't be easy for Crist to excel.

Crist will be pretty darn good this year. It's a familiar system and a system that is more suited for him. Hes got the NFL size. He just needs the accuracy.

Agree, I believe he will more accurate bc he will be a better decision maker in this offense. He just seemed lost in bk's offense

if crist can stay healthy i expect him to have a very good year. cw will design the passing game to exploit his strengths, much like brady quinn, even tho quinn had a better supporting cast. i don't know how good the OL can be, but my money says grunhard will get the most out of them, and crist will need them to give him pocket time and run at will.
