Kelly recovering from back surgery

Irish head coach Brian Kelly had some offseason surgery this week to help fix a herniated disc in his back. Here's a release from the school:
----- University of Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly is resting comfortably and should return home this weekend after successful back surgery Thursday. Kelly had been suffering from a herniated disc in his lower back and underwent surgery Thursday morning. He is scheduled to make a complete recovery by the time Notre Dame opens its football training camp on August 4.
