More often times than not the most talented team doesn't win the championship. Here's to the kings, Boise State's, Fresno st. (BB) of the world and all the other teams that win by sheer heart and desire. I hope Kelly can bring that out in our boys. Win one for the Gipper..GO IRISH

not sure that readily applies with the Kings, but truly they underperformed all regular season only to turn it on in the postseason. to a man, they probably had more talented players than the Devils, but less heralded.
however as a Kings fan, and one who has suffered through abysmal results, horrible coaching, terrible drafting, and questionable trades for decades, this is beyond sweet.

Heck the Great One got them turned around many moons ago but it wasn't to be then either. Congrats to you fans! I actually thought they were more talented. Being a Ranger fan I despise the Devils but I do respect them. Hats to the Kings!

You do not need to be the best team, or have the most talent, to win. You simply need to play the best (to paraphrase John Wooden). Congrats to the Kings. That was fun to watch.
