Didn't realize his brother goes to PSU.
I was pretty confident about our momentum until the last few days but still hoping he's Irish. His banter back and forth with the Irish pledges has died down now -- aand he's retweeting stuff from PSU pledge Adam Breneman (not a big deal) -- but we'll see what happens.
WE ARE ND.

You guys want to read into stuff on Twitter?
The day after his PSU visit he posted a picture joking about not being able to fit in a go-kart. You know what shirt he was wearing??? A Notre Dame Football shirt.
Mike Farrell @rivalsmike Anzalone's brother goes to #psu, dad went to #Florida but I think #NotreDame was best visit. The drama is high on this one.
It's recruiting fellas we can't overanalyze every little post that is out there. We will find out in a week! GO IRISH!

My post was not meant to be antagonistic. My apologies if it came off that way. I was just stating things on social media can be read a number of ways and have to be taken with a grain of salt. Based on your reactions to a few posts on this subject it seems like something is bothering you.

Nothing is bothering me at all. I accept your apologies, it seemed like you were saying I was reading into it on twitter like it's a clue on where he's going. I have no idea i'm not him i'm not a recruiting expert. I said i didn't know till today that his brother went there and that probably doesn't help us, then put but we have 2 recruits that didn't follow their brothers lead. I just think it's asanine to think that no recruit should go to PSU over the scandal because it's not realistic. They have a fine class even with what's going on, so obviously the recruits aren't caring much.
I really thought ND had this locked up, and said at the beginning when Steve said PSU pulled even that I hope it's just a I went there on a visit last high. Right now it seems like it's 50-50 which isn't near as good as it was last week when everyone was saying ND is in the lead. I hope he makes the right choice and picks ND. But if he doesn't whatever, i'm not going to be posting he's going to regret his decision because outside of the travesty PSU is a great school.

Are you a PSU alum? That was where I was stating you seem a little defensive. They may become a good school but what happened there is truly tarnishes the schools reputation for the foreseeable future. Not saying it will or won't effect recruits but it's definitely something that should be factored in to a well though out decision imo.

You know I'm about as die hard as they come, but it's time to let the "tarnished" argument go. We'll know this weekend and if it is PSU, then I wish him luck and happiness and that's that. He's smart enough to figure out where he wants to go, and the potential consequences that may follow. Live and let live

The tarnished argument has only just begun as more and more information comes out about how deep the cover-up went at PSU. And it's obviously more important than recruiting. The fact is that PSU is tarnished from a public perspective. And they deserve to be as it is the worst case of lack of institutional control in history.
All I said was that it is definitely something that should be considered when looking at the school. I would have no ill will towards Anzalone if he chooses PSU(I think he's Irish anyway). But to say we should move on from this disgrace at PSU so quickly is a unrealistic as human beings.

AA has a brother that currently attends PSU and one that graduated from PSU. His brother was posting on PSU's site. Not sure if he still is. I feel a lot better about landing AA now than I did two weeks ago.
