  • High School football recruiting has turned into a complete joke. These kids these days are unreal. Pack a school full of kids, family, friends and not even show up to announce....take a last minute trip to the freaking University of Houston and switch from the most prestigious program in history to lower tier school because of a position coach....stay committed the whole year and bail at the last minute for FSU's track program. These kids are ridiculous, whether this turns out to be good for us or not.

  • I agree with you in theory, Merlin. I really do. But there's something about this kid and his family in particular that makes this all seem genuine to me. I don't think he's trying to be dramatic.

    I could not agree more. This is an absolute joke. I thought this was a respectful kid who was just conflicted and wanting to do the right thing, but Im as disgusted with myself for following this situation as I am with Davonte Neal. I think he needs to stay home at this point, but I can smell the bridges burning! He should at least show up and explain that he needs more time and thank everyone in his community for their support. Sad.

  • Just my thought merlin......Darby wanted track and recent success of the ND track team makes that situation sweeter, Houston is ranked like high 40s in their recruiting class and it would be way higher maybe in the 60s if it wasn't for greenberry, good luck there, and for armstead and his basketball hook, ND bb team is looking better everyday and in the future without him, hey recruits karma is a you know what.....good luck though at your respective colleges

    No that was ridiculous too. No need to commit, decommit, commit,decommit and flake out on another school. So dont write what you think I would say and assume I wont say anything about him because he chose ND.

    Well hopefully so. But if it truly was he and his father not agreeing on a college destination and not showing up, then it does.
