On getting the sound louder in the stadium...
-- "It's going to be plenty loud enough in that stadium."
-- Really low on the priority list of the things Kelly is concerned about week-to-week.

On stopping Denard Robinson...
-- "If there was a secret out there, we'd probably have gotten it before anyone else. ... He's not a great player. He's a superior player. He's the best player on the field."
On preparing to host Michigan...
-- "The only thing that comes to my mind is that we haven't beaten them in the past two years."
-- Has a respect for the series, but most concerned about getting the victory.
On the four-quarter effort defensively...
-- Having coaches that trust in their guys to do the work during the week. If the players don't practice right, Bob Diaco won't play them. That's been a hallmark of how Diaco has managed the defensive side of the ball
On bad third-down conversion percentage...
-- Was able to manage the game and had a good kicking game. It's turnovers, field position and the big-chunk plays. Third-down conversions won't win or lose the game.
On Brady Hoke...
-- Have a respect for him.
"He's a really good coach."
-- If there's any history lesson, there have been some great contests between the two coaches at different teams.
-- His staff has changed quite a bit and Kelly has some of the same coaches at Central Michigan. Hoke has been great at changing coordinators and instilling a tough, aggressive defense and finding ways to run the ball, but there's a familiarity there on both ends.
Kelly press complete.

Noticed coach said CJ was going help fill in for Slaughter injury. Does this mean he is now at safety opposed to DOG LB?
Are Eilar Hardy & Elijah Shumate still viable options at Safety? I really haven't heard anything on Hardy this year so I was curious.
Yes, that's what I took it as -- that Prosise would be working with the safety group again to help with the depth at that position.
BlueandGold.com provides video of NDs Brian Kelly meeting with the media for his usual Tuesday Noon presser - preparing for Michigan, managing teams, and RB Cierre Wood.

Irish coach Brian Kelly is using lessons learned from previous big wins to help his Notre Dame players cope with success.
I am a fan of Kelly but someone needs to let him know Bama did figure out the secret to stopping DR. Just saying....
Wonderful summary. Thanks.
I'd like to make a comment on Teo. I can't think of a better class act spokesperson for the university then that young man. Considering all he went through last week, he played with passion, leadership and gave one heck of a classy post game interview after the game.
