but Steve Elmer dropping to 106 nationally is absurd! The kid is one of the top OT in the country and inexplicably he keeps dropping. Honestly I could understand if Bivin dropped but not Elmer. Not knocking Bivin just know that Bivin is considered by some respected analysts to be a tad overrated. I just don't get the drop at all!
Especially considering Kyle Bosch is still sitting up at #42 overall!
. I trust the ND coaching staff's evaluations over any recruiting service. Not knocking Bosch as he's a legit prospect but not better than Elmer.
And I just now noticed that Latham is still rated at #58

The general sense is that Elmer doesn't play with that mean streak you'd like to see from OL. Think you are wrong about Bivin. He's my favorite OL recruit in this class. I've yet to see McGlinchey's film. I think McGovern and Bivin's film both show their ability to hit that second level and lay wood on defenders. I was really impressed with McGoverns ability to block 10-15 yards downfield. They both finish blocks extremely well and play with that nastiness you like to see from OL. Reminiscent of Jeff Faine. I need to watch Steven's film again.
