In p-whipped a hardship under NCAA rules?

It's posts like these that are my biggest problem with our fan base. I bet you celebrated Amir Carlisle being granted a "hardship" waiver???

I also celebrated when Alex Bullard was granted hardship as well. Difference is they both had good excuses.

I agree with Guy and PB. The reasoning for him to leave to be by his girlfriend is rediculous. His Mom moved to Ohio to be closer to him, and now she is left up here, while he is down in the fun and sun of Florida. When your family moves, there is not much most kids can do but move with them. Very different circumstances IMO. Everyone has an opinion ND76, and you are entitled to yours. We don't need to get on other people just because opinions are different. Not singling you out ND76. I think everyone should realize this name calling isn't what we want OUR ND board to represent. Now everyone cyber-hug.

I also didn't want or expect Carlisle to get a hardship waicer and i dont his reasoning behind it deserved one with that said if Spencer boyd had to sit out a year so should lynch. Boyd at least a solid reason behind it

I think the 2.5 hour drive to school is a little different for family compared to a 30+ hour drive to California. And not everyone can just hop on a plane. If there isn't one in place now, maybe the NCAA needs to put up some parameters for such circumstances. Certain amount of miles from family will get clearance. Who knows. Can't make everyone happy.
