Rockne's Roundtable

I remember going to the event my senior year of high school and meeting All-Americans Peter Warrick, Chris Samuels (talked to him the most), Joe Hamilton, Ron Dayne, Corey Moore (gave me a hard time for picking ND over Va Tech after originally meeting him on my official visit), Courtney Brown, LaVar Arrington, Brandon Short and Brian Urlacher.

Bubba Smith (RIP), Bo Jackson and and Ricky Williams were also in the house and shook all of their hands -- with Ricky Williams having a 22 oz of Bud in his hand during our picture.

Needless to say, I worked the room a bit.

And in an effort to try to tie this back to Notre Dame instead of a trip down memory lane for me, there weren't any Notre Dame players in the room and that's back when PSU was getting it done in the front seven (Arrington, Brown and Short) similar to how touted of a group the Irish group is making strides to become.
