This is awesome getting to hear some input from a former ND great.
Now Kelly said that Golson has the art down and not the science. From my short experience playing QB, it is a hell of a lot easier to have the science down than the art. I think Golson is the only one with the art down other than maybe Kiel's natural abilities. Rees has the science but his physical limitations keep him from truly ever having the art. Hendrix is closer in the art, further in the science, but ultimately very raw all around. To me, Golson is too much of a freak to keep off the field. And I certainly don't mean move him to another position. What I'm saying is he is too talented not to have at the qb spot.
If he's got the art, and is the only one of the four to really have it, than I think he's pretty much ready to take the damn job! If the science is a matter of getting the snap off in time, than I think he can handle it.
