Not only did I explain to JJ the greatness of ND, I shamed him for running up the score in 1986 and explained that he was paid back in 1988. He's a great guy actually. The best part was that I spoke for at least 15 minutes with Mike Perreira (former NFL head of officials) about the Stanford goal line whistle, and Golden Tate's MNF TD. He was a really nice guy. Yes, I have some good connections in life, so I get to do fun things.

Howie Long is a monster of a man, and is also aging more gracefully than should be allowed. Guy looks my age. Shaking his hand was like I had baby hands. So absurd. Bradshaw was the nicest, funniest and most engaging of all of them. Although I did have a pretty good conversation going with Jay Glazer about Twitter and journalists/ESPN stealing his stories. A great day, really. Glad to share with you guys.

He said the call was right as it was called. He thought the whistle might have been blown a little early, but that is a judgement call and could have gone either way. So he thought people should have let that go a lot earlier than they did. Tate's catch in endzone was no catch, and he BLATANTLY committed pass interference. Pretty obvious stuff, really. Was shocked though at how friendly and engaging he was.

Seriously that's really cool, how do you get to do all these fun things?
