Do a shot every time Mayock says, "Wow." By the end of the first quarter, you'll love him. Hell, you'll love everybody.

Mayock is fine. Hammond needs to go.

Shocked to hear this personally. Not only did Hayden get many of the players names wrong, many times it seemed as though he was outright rooting for the Irish to loose! Not only that, but I felt that when the Irish made a big play it was always because of luck, blown assignment, etc. When the other team made great plays it was because of how much better they were than the Irish. Seriously, I would be watching the broadcast and the Opponent might make a play for a 2 yd stop, Hayden would say something Like team x really blew that play up. When the Irish stopped the other team they would say team x is only able to get 2 yards. It was constant.

On Mayock, sometimes people may think he over uses things, or talks in a fashion that they don't like, but the content is great. I think that's where the divide is, people may not like Mayock due to his delivery style or terminology, but his knowledge and understanding of the game, as well as his ability to relay that knowledge, is really top notch.

I don't mind mayoch...he is a little dry, but he gives good textbook opinions of players and coaches which i find intriguing with Kelly's not traditional approach to football...NBC needs a new play by play...that other guy (forgot his name) bores me.
