ND OL commit Steve Elmer among the Best of the Illinois NFTC

Per 247Sports national analyst Barton Simmons: Notre Dame offensive tackle commit Steve Elmer Jr. is among the 10 best standouts at the NFTC event at Illinois today.
Other notable prospects on the list are WR Laquon Treadwell, RB Ezekiel Elliot (committed to Ohio State), LB Clifton Garrett (2014) and RB Jeff Jones (2014).

loved the camp!
this was our first experience with NFTC and wish we would have done it sooner. tons of great kids and parents to meet.....was clean and well organized.....nicely done.
SPECIFICALLY O-LINE: the coach they had at camp is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!! his name is LeCharles Bentley - really cool guy - really gets the msg to the boys. Not sure when or where he is available but if you can train with this guy - YESSSSSSSSSSS - DO IT!
Steve didnt get as many reps as I would have like to have seen for a camp and also I like to see the "king of the hill" thing at the end where the best guys stay out there.
Was awesome to see and hang out with James and Collins' fathers - these kids are on target to put together something really special
Nike runs a great camp - reco !!!

Not surprised Steve did so well. He is a focused young man who strives to be the best in all he does. Well deserved Kudos.

Would have been a perfect day if:
1) would have been a few more D-ends rushing instead of numerous corners and safeties
2) would have got an invite to The Opening
Not in the cards i guess.
will be going to Top Gun and the ND camp and that is it fot steves camp days. Been fun.

Really happy Steve excelled.. Not surprised, but still great to see..
I would really like to see us get back in on Ezekiel Elliott.. We just can't let him go to O$U..
Great to see Garrett and Jones out of the class of 2014 doing well as I expect ND to be right there with both of them..
