thanks DD I was feeling the same negativity on this board as well. yes be disappointed for losing to meatchicken, usf, usc definitely...Stanford is just a better team right now because they had COACHING since Luck was freshman. If this was the Weis era we would've finished 5-7 scored a bunch of points on O and given up tons of points on D. A lot of people don't understand that the players have to be De-programmed from the losing mentality they endured just 2 seasons ago. They were not coached correctly, especially on D, by the previous staff. The lbs were not asked to cover people in the previous defense the Cb's were in more zone coverages then man like they are now. IMO Dayne was shook in that USF game granted it was his first real action since being injured. Kelly IMO had no option but to go to Rees because he's the coach at ND, he needs to win every game if at all possible and Rees gave the team the best chance to win that game. Everybody just needs to give BK the time needed to transform this team from the nonperforming non-coached team it was under CW.

What did I do Merlin? I've never told you guys you can't be negative or write the things you want. Sure I may have asked you guys not to be so negative all the time. Cmon, you think I'm naive to what's going on out in the field? I am not. I just choose to not express them all here. Sure most of my threads are happy and even slices of oranges. All my threads carry a common theme, they all place what ND means to me and many others. Even my silly threads about lunch which I don't spend too much time talking about what I eat. Point is this: all I tried to do is be on the cloth of positivity, and let you all do whatever you want. It works for me. You do what you do. In still boils down to us all being fans of the same team and I don't know why I got thrown under the bus a few previous posts. Trust me I don't have rose colored glasses on. I'm disappointed too, frustrated and all that. But, it's not my call and who am I to judge the staff or the players.

Amen preach it brotha!!!, everyone is a fan on here and we do need to cut the crap as quoted by merlin but where he/she (cant tell anymore by the hot chick pics) differs from everyone else is that they tend to show the other side of the ND nation, kind of the negative side which is fine and dandy because you know that merlin and even the lelly have to be irish fans because they wouldn't pay the fee to be on this board, (as quoted by mr. Krebs) if they wasn't irish fans, so with the negativity showing in some people, that might just be their perspective and even their lifestyle
