Rockne's Roundtable

After a few years of reading featured articles, posts from members and really enjoying Blue and Gold (was a subscriber back when it was a newspaper LOL) over the years, I finally decided to jump in the ring with you guys. What finally got me to do it was recently reading a post from Lou S. The title was something about "greatest individual performances of ND players", and before clicking on article I said to myself "Jarious Jackson...home against Michigan and home against Oklahoma" (made the trip from So Florida with my brothers for that one). I thought nobody woulda said Jackson. I always liked the fearlessness and balls that he played with.
Anyway, born in South Bend, raised in South Florida..played HS ball in FL and a brief career at a D-1AA school in Illinois. Coached HS at my alma mater (long time ago) with a legend who just recently retired.

Looking forward to the season and a summer packed with info on BG. Incredible info on recruiting from you guys and excellent writing from staff and many posters. I will contribute when I can or if appropriate. In the meantime, I'm counting the days to Dublin!!! 9 AM kickoff will be a bit early for the usual pre-game tune up, but as we say in the Keys..."who the hell cares what time it is? ...throw me a cold one!"

btw...I live in Cane country...was at the '88 31-30 game...can't wait for Oct 6th!
