The two teams have met 39 times since Michigan introduced Notre Dame to college football in 1887. The Wolverines lead the all-time series with a record of 23-15-1.

Wolverines lead the series thinks to the 8 straight they won while teaching ND the game from 1887-1908. I know they played but those games are funny that they would count in the series. Then you include that with the refusal to play from 1944-1977

this is the same schedule that was set up with the 25 year agreement a couple of years ago.
There was going to be this two year gap all along.

why not ditch ****ing purdue or navy? mich is a bigtime program. so who are we gonna substitute here, indiana state? eastern mich?

This was a mutual decision from the sounds of it so it's not like we could just ditch the other games instead. Are 2018-2019 the seasons we are opening up with Texas?

Selfishly this ticks me off. Most seasons this is my favorite game of the year. Alternatively, bucknuts for Michigan and USC for ND>

My guess is that if it can be agreed upon, Wisconsin gets added to the schedule those 2 seasons

I hope we pick up U of Minnesota. Another program in the Big Ten, used to be prestigous, and may just so happen to be a few hours away.. Just saying. Haha.
