And youre not too high on Kiel? You have been shouting from the mountaintops how great this kid is. Weve seen Kiel look good against Indiana high school football. Golson holds national passing records in South Carolina, which is LEVELS higher than the competition Kiel played against.

Maybe Im wrong about Kiel, but I just dont think he is all that good and really dont think he ever makes an impact if he comes to ND.

He's a top-three QB in the nation regardless of what source you look at; 247, Rivals, all of them. He is a 6'4"-225 lb. QB with football in his family tree. That's not being too high on him, that's being real.

Golson is 6' (supposedly) which I am not a fan of and you say his competition was levels higher, but is this something you are just saying because it's South Carolina vs. Indiana and you're assuming or do you really know? I just ask because Gunner plays at Columbus East in Indiana which is at their highest level of 5A, I do believe. I believe Sheldon Day is coming out of Indiana and he is not exactly a 5'8"-140 lb. all-state DT.. I am not arguing that South Carolina doesn't have better overall talent because I know they do, I'm just arguing that he played against the highest level of competition the state had to offer and they weren't exactly a bunch of pushovers.

Why is it that Gunner's level of competition gets him criticized, but DGB plays against the lowest level of competition in Missouri, but no one says anything? I am not arguing that he is not the best WR in the country, because he is, I am just asking about the principle of it. Is it because Gunner has been in the press more due to his indecision about where he's going so he has more resentment built against him or... because they are both ranked similarly nationally overall and within their position rankings so I would imagine treatment would be similar.

Also, what leads you to say he is not all that good? Is it just a comment to argue against me because I don't know what you could have possibly seen or even heard that would cause him to fall under the 'not all that good' category. Additionally, why would he not make an impact? Again, is it just for argument sake?

If you are going to come after me because I made a simple comment like 'Y'all are too high on Golson IMO', come at me with facts rather than a mouth full of nothing. I like to think people here are smarter than the average fan and take the time to back up arguments when they start them. Thank you.

    Merry Christmas.
