As a father all I can say is what a credit you are to your family. As a father of a ND graduate and passionate fan all I can say is what a credit you are to ND and as a devout Catholic all I can say is what a credit you are to your faith.

The guy is gonna be missed huge....i'm grateful Ive been lucky to watch him play in person the last four years, including saturday night under the lights.....#5 is the man.

when Manti signed four years ago, people said that he was the recruit to turn things around. Little did they realize how much he would turn around. He will be missed more than any one can believe. Enjoy while you can.

Great article Lou....just great. I was at the Syracuse game, other than Tulsa back in 2010 I can't remember being more disappointed. Granted it has taken 5 years but it seems like we have turned this ship around so to speak.

He is what everyone hopes their children will be as students, athletes, and people. He is Notre Dame and I'll be deeply saddened the day he leaves. This type of kid is one you wish could stay at your school forever. Enjoy him while you can Irish fans; we'll never see another like him.
