Dont get me wrong I love to follow recruiting and seeing what kind of talent ND is and also other teams are getting. But my God, why people feel the need to try to contact them on their own is absurd. I dont think Ill ever understand the obsession.

There is a respectful and appropriate way to use social media. Its a great way to interact with athletes whether its professionals or college level players. Again only if its appropriate! Many of the recruits actually enjoy all of the fans following them and if they didn't there are privacy settings to manage that. I cant speak for the idiots who send death threats to these kids because that is creepy but its wrong for you to call out everyone and label them as creepy when you haven't even explored twitter or facebook. Plenty of fans use social media with courtesy so hold your tounge. Also feel free to downvote.

Its not an attack, just using him as he is an example of befriending recruits on social media...a success story if you will and hope for those types of people. Its lame.

We preach this over and over and yet there are some people who just dont get it. They will keep doing it and one day it will come to bite the university and the football team in the ass. People try and try to get people to stop doing this on message boards all over. There are some repeat offenders who know who they are and some of them are on this board. Im sure you all know how Im talking about. These people need to get a grip and stop doing this. There is a twitter account I found that is dedicated to trying to stop adults from tweeting at recruits. I dont remember what it was but Ill go find out. Any way I wish some of these people would just stop doing this. Its uncalled for and all we can do is to continue to beat the drum and by making sure every time we see someone doing this we call them on it and continue to call them on it until they stop this immature behavior. +1 to you merlin. More people need to join the crusade to stop the madness

Im actually 20 and by the details of your post it sounds like you do most of the creeping.No ones following there every move. If someone says something on twitter they are choosing to make that public. Only creepy if you make it creepy its not hard to use these sites in a mature and respectful manner.
