Jason - thanks for posting those pictures.
However, Rick Reilly is truly a complete piece of garbage and is on ND's campus for self-promotion only. He took a massive swing at ND and rightfully came out looking like a fool. He does not care about apologizing, admitting he's wrong, or anything of that nature. He saw another opportunity to put himself in the spotlight, whereas a true journalist is concerned with the subject matter and story. Reilly's "I had it first on Twitter" comment a few weeks back only cemented his status as a complete fraud. I'm actually disappointed Notre Dame even let him on campus, let alone touch anything related to the football team. Why are we letting an idiot who compared Notre Dame's football "irrelevance" to the Penn St. tragedy near our campus? Hey Rick - burn in hell.

Pretty much this. It was a clear ploy to get some spotlight and some material for a new column or shot spot on ESPN. And ND bought it hook, line, and sinker. I wish we would have just completely ignored him.

I don't know what I think about this. One part of me smiles because he looks like a dumb ass and now is having to pay up. The other part of me is pissed. RR loses a bet so now he HAS to shine ND helmets? Come on mannnn... I would consider it a privilege! Hell, I'll go on twitter right now and post 'If Auburn doesn't win the SEC championship Saturday, I will shine ND helmets!'.. Haha.
