Rockne's Roundtable

With National Signing Day behind us, we wanted to thank everyone for the continued interest and support on BlueandGold.com!

We have members that have been with us since the last time we were with a network, joined while we were independent, or just joined over the last week or so with our special promotion, and we want to extend our gratitude to all those that have contributed to and helped make Rockne's Roundtable the strong message board community it is.

As many of our members have already stated, whether it be through private messages or on the message board, we've experienced tremendous growth over the last 12 months and we're continuing to grow everyday because of the community and our members helping spread the word on the news, content and insight that our staff works to provide daily.

And that commitment from our staff won't be stopping now that the 2012 recruiting class has signed...

We still have great coverage planned for our community that will take us right into spring practice:

- Final wrap up of the 2012 signing class and any remaining pieces to the puzzle
- Football roster movement and changes after adding new names to the depth chart
- Additional insight into the new additions to the coaching staff
- Full coverage of a succeeding Men's hoops program and the recruiting efforts
- Position breakdown of top needs and targets for the 2013 recruiting class
- And much more...

In addition to what we'll be providing from BlueandGold.com, 247Sports is also committed to building and improving our platform and there have already been great strides made from when the network first launched.

Last February, we had a generic home page with no carousel or modules, the boards were an old version, and the mobile site didn't have nearly as many accessible tools like team rankings, full recruiting database, access to photo galleries, and other features.

For those following recruiting, the prospect database has also had improvements made with team and state rankings, timeline of events, targets list, Twitter feed and there are many other great plans in the works.

We do remember the time where there were complaints about site speed and stability, and we appreciate everyone's patience to stick with us through it, but those improvements have now been made and there's so much more going on, on the admin end, that allows us to present the news and content in a faster and more deliverable fashion.

Thanks again and our hope is that we continue to grow over this time with our devotion to providing continued coverage of the Notre Dame athletics program. We're excited to be a part of the 247Sports network and the momentum that we've been able to gain heading into the next phase!
