I agree, there were times when I would just look around the room at everyone asking WTF was that!!?? I fully understand that any QB running a new system is going to have some struggles, but Dayne seemed to be regressing as the season went on. I hope he can regain his health and compete for the starting job but the Crist question is from settled in my mind.....I just don't feel very comfortable with him at this point.

I am not sure who the next qb is going to be for us, but as far as this argument goes look at the TD-int ratio. It is heavily in Crist favor. I am not sure who should be qb next year but I do know that we need someone who can really run this offense to get us up to top speed.

newman, the kid is a true freshman for godsakes! he is 3-0 as a starter regardless of good defense, better running game, less penalties etc. as a true freshman playing against the caliber of athletes the tommy rees played against he managed to get a win. don't forget that he did throw 2 td passes in that game. they weren't to wide open receivers either. give the kid a bit of a break! clausen, for as good as he was, as a frosh looked clueless alot!
