I am usually very gracious when a recruit picks another school because they made the choice that works best for them. I will never argue that point and so wishing them well is the best thing to do. "I will never root for you or really care now that you are at another school. So do well and I hope things go well..." I guess that is what we are kind of saying. But I can not say that on this one becausse I was disappointed, albeit for a short time, by the comments he made in his article. The quotes about the NFL of college...the sec is so great... I did not think he was going to choose like that, or respond like that. I do not blame him I was just very surprised.
I do not begrudge anyone their dream but this one surprised and disappointed me now I am done and as all recruiting classes go let's move on and finish with a bang.

I posted this pre-commit, so this is not sour grapes. I don't understand how a team lead by the supposed #1 prep quarterback in America can lose a game 62-7 in the Indiana 4A playoffs. That should not happen. Any division 1 bound qb, let alone the top ranked one, should dominate any game he plays in. It's not exactly Texas or Florida.

Good point. I wondered what the circumstances were in that game. You're right though, one would not expect the #1 prep QB to lose a H.S. Game like that. I suppose everyone can have an off day but the number of stars in a ranking don't necessarily mean guaranteed success in college.
